Introduction
What is OutDo
OutDo is a no-code application platform that lets you build, manage, and visualize data-driven applications without writing a single line of code. Everything in OutDo is configuration-driven — you define your data structures, choose how to display them, set up automations, and control access, all through a visual interface.
At its core, OutDo works like a powerful, flexible database with a dynamic user interface that adapts to your configuration. You create Features (similar to database tables), define Columns (fields with specific types), and then choose from over a dozen View types to present and interact with your data — tables, forms, kanban boards, dashboards, calendars, and more.
OutDo runs as a cross-platform application (desktop, tablet, and mobile) with offline-first capabilities. Your data syncs in real-time when online and remains fully accessible when offline.
Who is it for
OutDo is designed for teams and organizations that need to:
- Build internal tools without a development team — CRMs, inventory systems, project trackers, approval workflows
- Manage structured data with flexible views — switch between table, kanban, calendar, or dashboard views of the same data
- Automate processes — trigger actions when records change, schedule recurring tasks, or chain operations together
- Control access at a granular level — define who can see, edit, or manage each part of the system
- Import and connect data — pull data from REST APIs, import Excel files, or use AI to extract structured data from documents
- Deploy kiosk or point-of-sale interfaces — dedicated modes for self-service terminals and retail environments
Whether you are a small team tracking projects or an enterprise managing complex operations across multiple workspaces, OutDo adapts to your needs through configuration alone.
Key capabilities
Configuration-driven UI — Define your data structure once. OutDo generates the interface automatically based on your configuration. Change a column type from text to date, and every view updates accordingly.
13 view types — Table, List, Kanban, Form, Calendar, Dashboard, Pivot, Card, Record, Document, Chat, Point of Sale, and Side by Side. Each view has its own configuration options for sorting, filtering, grouping, conditional formatting, and more.
19 component types — From simple text fields and checkboxes to formulas, linked views, AI-powered document extraction, checklists with progress tracking, and workflow execution buttons.
Workflow automation — Create automations triggered manually, by data changes, or on a schedule. Chain actions like creating records, calling APIs, sending emails, or showing popups. Use context variables to pass data between steps.
Integrations — Connect to external REST APIs with full request/response mapping, import data from Excel and CSV files with column mapping and transformation, or use AI to extract structured data from PDFs and images.
Multi-tenant architecture — Organize work into Organizations and Workspaces with complete data isolation. Each workspace has its own features, views, modules, and permissions.
Granular permissions — Control access at every level: workspace, module, rail, feature, and view. Assign roles (admin, editor, viewer, restricted) and create reusable permission templates.
Offline-first — Work without an internet connection. All data is stored locally and syncs automatically when connectivity is restored.
AI-powered setup — Describe what you need in natural language and let the AI Workspace Generator create your features, columns, and views automatically.
