Administration
Admin panel overview
The Admin panel provides centralized management of all workspace configuration, organized into dedicated sections, each covering a specific area of the platform.
The admin panel is scoped to the current workspace — each workspace has its own independent configuration.
Who can access it
Reaching the Admin panel requires the Admin workspace role or higher (Admin, or Owner) — Dev and User accounts are redirected away and never see it. Dev accounts can still configure features, views, modules and data through the regular workspace UI; they just don't get the admin panel's user/role/permission management.
| Role | Sees the Admin panel | What it can do inside |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | Yes | Everything — organization owner, unrestricted. |
| Admin | Yes | Everything in this page: features, views, integrations, workflows, executions, permissions, logs, workspace settings. |
| Dev | No | Configures features/views/modules/rails and performs data operations from outside the admin panel; no access to user/role/permission management. |
| User | No | Regular data operations, subject to any permission overlay. |
| View | No | Read-only. |
Kiosk is not a workspace role — it's a flag on a user account (a kiosk user still holds a regular role, typically User, in the workspace it's pinned to). See Permissions for the full role and overlay model.
Managing features
The Features section is the primary interface for defining data structures.
Sidebar:
- Searchable list of all features in the workspace (Ctrl+K / Cmd+K)
- Add button to create new features
- Context menu per feature: Edit, Duplicate, Delete, Share settings
- Shared features display a link icon
Main area:
- Select a feature to view and manage its columns
- Column grid showing all fields with inline editing for order, required, read-only, and hidden toggles
- Add component button to create new columns
- Component type chooser with visual icons for all 18 types
See Features for detailed documentation.
Managing fields
The Fields section provides additional column management capabilities, including bulk field operations and cross-feature field views.
Managing views
The Views section lets you create and configure how data is displayed.
Structure:
- Features are listed with their views nested underneath
- Expand a feature to see all its views
- Add view button per feature with view type selector
Per view:
- View type selection (table, form, kanban, dashboard, list, pivot, calendar, sidebyside, kiosk, document, chat, record, card)
- Full view configuration panel with type-specific settings
- Duplicate and delete options
View configuration varies by type — see Views for complete documentation of each view type's settings.
Managing integrations
The Integrations section manages external data connections.
List view:
- All integrations with type badges (HTTP, Excel, AI Struct)
- Search and filter capabilities
- Add button with type selector
Per integration:
- Type-specific configuration panel
- Test capabilities (HTTP endpoint testing)
- Execute button to run the integration
- Staging view for reviewing imported data before sync
- Duplicate and delete options
See Integrations for detailed documentation.
Managing workflows
The Workflows section manages automations.
Sidebar:
- Searchable list of workflows
- Active/inactive status indicator
- Add button with trigger type selector
Main area:
- Workflow name and description
- Active toggle
- Trigger configuration display
- Action chain visualization
- Field mapping editor
- Execution log (recent runs)
Workflow builder:
- Step 1: Select trigger type
- Step 2: Configure trigger properties (feature, conditions, button label)
- Step 3: Add and configure actions in sequence
- Step 4: Set up field mappings with source type selection
- Save and activate
System workflows (marked as system) cannot be deleted.
See Workflows for detailed documentation.
Monitoring executions
The Executions section shows the history of all workflow and integration runs in the workspace.
For each execution:
- Timestamp
- Trigger source
- Success or failure status
- Duration
- Error details (if failed)
Use this section to monitor automated processes, debug failures, and verify that workflows are executing as expected.
Access management
The Permissions section controls who can access what. It has three groups in its sidebar — Templates, Grupos, Utilizadores — and, for whatever you select, a set of tabs: Funções (users only) for assigning the workspace role, Visibilidade for the module/rail/view visibility tree, Operações for per-feature add/edit/delete/view switches, and Auditoria (users only) for a log of role changes.
Access in OutDo is always workspace role + optional overlay — there's no per-object Admin/Editor/Viewer/Restricted role anymore. See Permissions for the full model, including the built-in permission templates and how visibility/operations overlays work.
System logs
The Logs section provides an audit trail of all activities in the workspace.
Filtering options:
- Filter by user — See all actions performed by a specific user
- Filter by feature — See all changes to a specific feature's data
- Date range — Restrict to a specific time period
- Cross-filter — Combine user and feature filters (e.g., "Show all changes User X made to the Orders feature")
Log entries contain:
- Timestamp
- User who performed the action
- Feature affected
- Operation type (create, update, delete)
- Data changes (before and after values)
Toggle between user-centric and feature-centric view modes to explore the audit trail from different perspectives.
Workspace settings
The Workspace section provides workspace-level configuration:
- Search configuration — Select which features and columns are included in the global search across the workspace
- Workspace-level settings — Organization-wide preferences and defaults
