Dashboard View
Overview
The Dashboard view displays data widgets in a free-form grid layout. It is designed for analytics, KPIs, reporting, and at-a-glance monitoring. Admins configure the layout and default filters; users can apply personal overrides on top.
Widget types
Widgets are grouped into six categories.

Shows a single calculated value or a small visual indicator.
| Subtype | Description |

| Sparkline | A small trend line alongside a headline number |
| Progresso | A progress bar showing how far a value is toward a target |
| Medidor | A gauge dial for a value within a defined range |

Lista
Compact ranked or scrollable lists.
| Subtype | Description |
|---|---|
| Simples | A plain scrollable list of records |
| Top N | The top N records by a chosen metric |
| Ranking | A leaderboard-style ranked list with position indicators |
Tabela
Tabular data within a widget cell.

| Raw rows | A raw data table showing individual records |
| Pivot | A pivot table for cross-tabulating two dimensions |
Vista vinculada
Embeds another configured view (list, form, etc.) directly inside a dashboard widget. Useful for inline record access without leaving the dashboard.
Acções
A group of action buttons placed directly on the dashboard — for quick navigation or triggering workflows.
Edit mode (admin only)
Admins can rearrange and configure the dashboard by entering edit mode.
- Click Modo edição in the admin toolbar to activate edit mode.
- In edit mode:
- Click + Widget to open the widget library and add a new widget.
- Drag any widget to reposition it; drag its edges or corners to resize it.
- Tap a widget's 3-dot menu to access Configurar, Duplicar, or Apagar.
- Click Sair edição to exit and save.
The admin toolbar is only visible to users with admin or superadmin access.
Admin filters ("Filtros (admin)") — also in the admin toolbar — define the filter definitions and default values that apply to all users. These are distinct from personal filters, which each user sets independently.
Personal filters
Users can apply personal filter overrides on top of the admin-configured defaults.
- When overrides are active, a user toolbar appears with a Filtros button and a reset icon.
- Open Filtros to view and change your personal filter selections. These are not shared with other users and persist after a page refresh.
- Tap the reset icon to clear all your overrides and return to admin defaults.
Global period
When the admin enables a period bar, a date-range selector appears at the top of the dashboard. Selecting a period applies it to all date-aware widgets simultaneously.
- Preset periods — common ranges (this week, this month, this quarter, this year, etc.)
- Custom range — pick any start and end date
The period selection is part of your personal overrides and can be cleared with the reset icon.
Widget library (admin)
Admins can promote a configured widget to a shared library so it can be reused across dashboards. Library templates are scoped to the organisation and available when adding new widgets.
Tips
- Widgets respond to the global period and personal filters independently — a widget must be configured to use a filter for it to react to changes.
- Duplicating a widget ("Duplicar") copies its full configuration; adjust the data source or title before saving.
- Personal filter overrides are yours only — resetting them does not affect what other users see.
