Duplicating and view templates
A well-configured view can be the starting point for others. You can duplicate it on the same page, copy it to another table, or save it as an organization template and reuse it in any workspace.
Before you start: these actions are available to whoever can design in the workspace (design mode or the page ⋮ menu).
Duplicate a tab
- Open the tab you want to copy.
- In the page ⋮ menu, choose Duplicar.
The copy appears right after the original, named "(Cópia)". It has its own view: changing the copy does not change the original.
To duplicate the whole page, use Duplicar in the ⋯ menu of the page card, under Admin > Modules. The Copiar também as vistas switch decides whether each tab gets a new view or keeps pointing to the same views.
Create a view from another one
When you add a view, after choosing the type and the Tabela, choose the source:
| Source | What it does |
|---|---|
| Nova | Empty view of the chosen type |
| Existente | Points to a view that already exists on that table |
| Cópia | Copies a tab's configuration: choose the Módulo, the Página and the Aba |
| Modelo | Copies the configuration of an organization template |
With Cópia and Modelo, the tab name becomes the one from the source tab or template, unless you already changed it.
Save as template
- A view: in the page ⋮ menu (or in design mode), with the tab open, choose Guardar como modelo. Enter a Nome (required) and, optionally, a Descrição.
- A page: in the ⋯ menu of the page card, under Admin > Modules, choose Guardar como modelo. The template keeps every tab and each view's configuration.
Templates belong to the organization: they are available in all its workspaces. A new tab that has not been saved yet has no configuration, so Guardar como modelo stays disabled until you save the page.
Create a page from a template
In the module header, under Admin > Modules, use the Nova página a partir de modelo button, pick the template and confirm with Criar página. Each tab gets a new view with the configuration stored in the template.
Rename and delete templates
In the template list, each template's ⋯ menu has Renomear (name and description) and Apagar. Deleting a template does not change the views and pages you already created from it.
Limits
- Page templates: only tabs whose tables exist in the current workspace are reused. The others are left out and the dialog says how many. If no tab fits, Criar página stays disabled.
- Changing table: when you copy or apply a template on another table, column links follow the column name. Those the chosen table lacks are cleared, as are settings tied to source values (filters, group order, colour rule values). A notice says what was cleared.
