Phone and tablet

The board is the same on every screen. With a finger the gestures change, because one finger has to serve both for panning the board and for moving elements.

On touch

The starting tool is the Mão (Hand). On a device with both a mouse and a touch screen, the gestures follow whichever you are using at the moment.

The options sheet

The sheet has what the element allows:

  • On a card: Abrir (Open) and Tirar do quadro (Remove from board).
  • On a note: Editar (Edit), Cor (Color, a row of circles) and Apagar (Delete).
  • On a text: Editar, Cor and Apagar.
  • On a card or a note, also Ligar com seta (Connect with arrow): the notice "Toca noutro cartão ou nota para ligar" appears, with Cancelar.
  • On an arrow: Rótulo (Label), Tipo (Type), Pontas (Heads), Traço (Line), Cor (Color) and Apagar.
  • On a group: Tirar do quadro and Apagar, as in the "N selecionados" bar.

It opens with a long press or with the ⋯. Cards show the ⋯ in their corner when they are large enough on screen. On the phone, a selected note, text or group shows the ⋯ above it.

On the phone

On narrow screens, the board looks like this:

  • The toolbar is at the bottom left. Nota and Texto are in the + menu ("Adicionar ao quadro"), and the Seta comes next. Anyone who cannot arrange sees only the Mão and Registos.
  • At the top right are Ajustar (with the zoom percentage) and Desfazer and Refazer. Zooming is done by pinching.
  • There is no floating bar above the note and no handles: color, edit and delete are in the sheet. So a note's size cannot be changed on the phone. The same goes for arrows: no arrow bar and no end handles, and a selected arrow shows the ⋯. To change the target, delete the arrow and connect again.
  • The Registos tray starts closed.

Connection dots

On touch, a selected card or note shows the four connection dots, with any tool. Tap a dot to arm the connection from that side, or drag it to pull the arrow. Two fingers always pinch and give up the pull. See Arrows.

On the tablet

On a wide touch screen, the board has the desktop toolbar and zoom, and starts on the Mão. On touch, the note bar, the handles and the "N selecionados" bar show with any tool, the Hand included: tap a note and change its color or size without switching tools. They go away while you pan, pinch, drag or draw the lasso. A long press always gives the sheet, with Editar, Cor and Apagar.

With a mouse, the Mão and a held Space hide these bars.
